Symulacja podziału komórek roślin
This application is an approach of the three-dimensional visualization of an idealized growth and division of shoot apex meristem of the root. The approach is based on simplification of cells to the form of not complex polyhedrons rendered by the graphics library. Vertices of the polyhedrons are processed by the growth algorithm which affects their position in space and successively increase of the size until the division criteria is fulfilled and multiplication is triggered. The introduced approach allows to simulate described processes and observe their characteristics by animation of a single cell or large sets of cells.
